Chinese Five Spice Powder

Chinese Five Spice Powder (wǔxiāngfěn; 五香粉)  is a mix of spices commonly used in Chinese cuisine. The most common mix includes star anise, cloves, Chinese cinnamon, Sichuan peppercorn, and fennel seeds. There are many variants and other ingredients may be added depending on the brand and personal preference. Five Spice Powder is commonly used as a spice rub for poultry and seafood.
